STITCHING CENTER FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN
The Nada Yoga Foundation operates a Sewing Center in Faridabad dedicated to empowering women from underprivileged and backward families. In collaboration with END Charitable Trust, we provide comprehensive training in sewing, stitching, and embroidery skills. Our vision is to establish a community where women, regardless of their background, gain empowerment and opportunities for thriving, fostering an environment of gender equality and economic independence. To date, 300 women have successfully completed our 6-month stitching courses.
Launched in October 2022, our program involves enrolling women in four batches for intensive training over six months. Our dedicated trainers guide participants in acquiring skills such as sewing, stitching, embroidery, pattern making, and essential business and entrepreneurship skills. Our overarching goal is to build sustainable inter-generational livelihood options, empowering women to create a positive ripple effect in their communities. This includes contributing to better family economic stability and fostering the holistic development of children in an improved family environment. Ultimately, we strive to make a lasting impact on women’s financial independence.
